UCLA athletic director Dan Guerrero will retire in June, the Los Angeles Times reported Thursday.

Guerrero, 68, has been the AD at his alma mater since 2002.

The Bruins have won 32 NCAA championships in his tenure, but have struggled lately in the marquee programs of football and men’s basketball. UCLA has missed two of the last four NCAA Tournaments in basketball and hasn’t posted a winning season in football since 2015.

The University of California Regents voted Thursday to extend Guerrero’s contract from December 2019 until his retirement on June 30, 2020, the newspaper reported.
