One of the top players in the 2019 Arkansas recruiting class has decided to transfer.

Defensive end Collin Clay was a four-star signee and the No. 4-ranked player at any position in the state of Oklahoma, per the 247 Sports Composite.

As a true freshman this season, Clay played in 11 games and registered 15 tackles for the Razorbacks.

Clay is the second notable player to enter the NCAA transfer database since Sam Pittman was named as the permanent replacement for head coach Chad Morris, who was fired last month.

Junior quarterback Nick Starkel announced Friday on social media that he is also leaving Fayetteville.

Starkel played in eight games in 2019, completing 96 of 179 passes for 1,152 yards, seven touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
