Time was running down in Oxford, Miss. on Saturday. Late in the fourth quarter in a back-and-forth game, Auburn trailed Ole Miss, 28-27, the margin being a missed extra point back in the first quarter.

With just 1:11 remaining in the game, Auburn had first down at the Rebels’ 42-yard line. That’s when quarterback Bo Nix threw to wide receiver Seth Williams who made a leaping two-hand catch, made two defenders miss and sprinted untouched to the end zone, giving Auburn a 33-28 lead.

For good measure, he caught a two-point conversion pass from Nix, providing the final 35-28 margin.

Williams’ go-ahead touchdown reception is this week’s U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish “Catch of the Week.”

For the game, Nix completed 23 of 30 passes for 238 yards with no interceptions.

Eight completions were to Williams, who had 134 receiving yards, including the winning touchdown.

Remember … for the tailgate tent or the pre-game party, U. S. Farm-Raised Catfish is always “the winning catch.”

The Catfish Institute, or TCI, was formed in 1986 by catfish farmers and feed manufacturers to raise consumer awareness of the positive qualities of U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish. Since its formation, U.S. per capita consumption has more than doubled.

U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish is a sustainable and environmentally friendly seafood product. The National Audubon Society, Monterey Bay Aquarium, and Environmental Defense all recommend U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish as a safe environmental choice. To find out more, visit www.uscatfish.com.
