GAME BREAKDOWN

KEY MATCHUP: Florida CB C.J. Henderson vs. South Carolina WR Deebo Samuel. Henderson returned from a back injury that sidelined him for the majority of the game against Georgia to record two pass breakups during UF’s loss against Missouri. The 6-foot-1, 191-pound Henderson will face a stiff test in man coverage against the speedy Samuel, who has 39 catches for 407 yards and five TDs and is one of the top wide receivers in college football.

DRAFT SLANT

–DL Jachai Polite hasn’t decided whether he will come back for his senior season, but the 6-foot-2, 242-pound Daytona Beach native has certainly improved his stock during a breakout junior season. Polite’s seven sacks is the most for a Gator player through the first nine games of the season since Dante Fowler had 8.5 sacks through nine games in 2014, and Polite’s four forced fumbles are tied for the FBS lead among defensive linemen.

ROSTER REPORT:

–WR Jacob Copeland (knee) is healthy and back practicing, coach Dan Mullen said. Copeland, a freshman, could play in UF’s next four games and not burn his redshirt, but Mullen noted because he missed a significant amount of time over the summer, he could be limited to spot duty on special teams.
