Georgia safety Josh Harvey-Clemons was suspended for the first three games of the 2014 season for violating team rules.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that Clemons was given a four-game ban for a violation of the team’s marijuana use policy a second time. He already served one game when he missed the Gator Bowl on Jan. 1. The Bulldogs lost to Nebraska 24-19.
Harvey-Clemons, a starter, was suspended for the 2013 season opener against Clemson because of a drug-related incident. He was third on the team with 66 tackles, and had 5.5 tackles for loss, one interception and three fumble recoveries.
Georgia’s first three games of this season are against Clemson, Troy and South Carolina.
