PLAYERS TO WATCH

–QB Terry Wilson likely got a huge confidence boost after directing the Wildcats 81 yards over the final 1:24 for the winning touchdown in the 15-14 victory at Missouri. He was 22-of-31 overall for 267 yards, both season highs, with the one touchdown and one interception despite getting sacked three times. “I know it did a lot for his confidence,” coach Mark Stoops said. “I know it did a lot for his team’s confidence in him.”

–WR Lynn Bowden has been showing signs of his potential and had a breakout game at Missouri. His 67-yard punt return for a touchdown was a pivotal point in the Wildcats’ victory, and his 17-yard reception to Mizzou’s 10-yard line in the closing seconds set up the decisive touchdown. He showed good thinking by stepping out of bounds to stop the clock with two seconds left when it was evident he wasn’t going to be able to get to the end zone.

–LB Josh Allen turned in his usual big numbers, leading the Wildcats in tackles with 11 stops with two sacks. He has 56 tackles for the season with an SEC-best 10 sacks. His presence will be a key factor against Georgia’s high-octane, balanced offense.

–S Darius West leads Kentucky in tackles with 52 and also in interceptions. He has three of the team’s seven picks and needs to have a big game against Georgia’s passing game.

SERIES HISTORY: Georgia leads Kentucky 57-13-2. Georgia won the last meeting 42-13 in 2017.

QUOTE TO NOTE: “He didn’t have to twist my arm.” — Coach Mark Stoops, on WR Lynn Bowden’s pleas to be allowed to return a punt late in the game, which he turned into a 67-yard return for a touchdown.
