Indianapolis Colts center Ryan Kelly was spotted using crutches after exiting Thursday’s practice with an undisclosed injury.
“I didn’t see it,” Colts coach Chuck Pagano said of the injury to Kelly. “I think I was on the other field. I heard after awhile they took him off. I’ll wait and see what the docs and trainers have to say.”
Undrafted free agent acquisition Deyshawn Bond stepped in for Kelly, who started all 16 games during his rookie season. The 24-year-old Kelly was selected with the 18th overall pick of the 2016 draft.
Longtime Colts beat writer Mike Chappell of WTTV reported seeing Kelly on crutches.
Wide receiver Phillip Dorsett missed his fourth consecutive practice because of a hamstring injury, according to multiple reports.
