The Arizona Diamondbacks reinstated outfielder Tim Locastro and infielder Christian Walker from the 10-day injured list Monday.

To make room on the roster, the Diamondbacks optioned outfielder Nick Heath and infielder/outfielder Andrew Young to Triple-A Reno.

Locastro hasn’t played since April 17 due to a dislocated left little finger. In 15 games this season he has batted .269 (14-for-52) with one home run, two RBIs and three stolen bases.

Locastro dislocated the finger in a loss to the Washington Nationals when he was caught stealing for the first time in his career, which ended his major league record 29-steal streak.

Walker began the season as Arizona’s starting first baseman but hasn’t seen action since April 11 after straining his right oblique. At the plate he started the year batting .179 (7-for-39) with one double, one home run and three RBIs.

Young filled in for 12 games for Arizona, while Heath saw action in 10. Heath had an RBI double for the Diamondbacks on Sunday in their 8-4 win over the Colorado Rockies before he was optioned back to Triple-A.
