The Monday night game between the Chicago White Sox and the visiting Houston Astros was postponed because of inclement weather and will be made up as part of a straight doubleheader starting at 4:40 p.m. ET Tuesday.

The originally scheduled contest will begin approximately 30 to 40 minutes following the conclusion of the opener, but not sooner than 8:10.

Zack Greinke was scheduled on Monday to make his second start with the Astros, which would have been the opener of a three-game series. In his Astros debut on Aug. 6, he allowed five runs in six innings but was the winning pitcher in an 11-6 victory over the visiting Colorado Rockies.

The two teams have split four previous games this season. The White Sox opened the homestand by losing two of three games over the weekend to the Oakland Athletics.
