Atlanta Braves outfielder Adam Duvall will miss the rest of the postseason with an injured left oblique muscle.
Switch-hitting infielder Johan Camargo took his place on the National League Championship Series roster.
Duvall, 32, sustained the injury to his left side when he fouled off a pitch in the second inning of Monday’s 5-1 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 1 in Arlington, Texas. He left the game and was replaced by Cristian Pache.
Game 2 of the best-of-seven series is Tuesday night.
Duvall batted .237 with 16 homers and 33 RBIs in 57 games during the regular season.
Camargo, 26, hit .200 with four home runs and nine RBIs in 35 games. He has not played since Sept. 5.
