David Ortiz went hitless in three at-bats, but festivities to honor Ortiz, who was playing in his final spring training home game at Fort Myers, overshadowed the Orioles’ 5-3 win.

Ortiz had a street named after him and he was escorted off the field after his final at-bat in the seventh inning by Red Sox greats Luis Tiant and Jim Rice as the David Ortiz farewell tour started.

Baltimore was powered by home runs from Xavier Avery, Nolan Reimold and Francisco Pena.

Cubs 8, Angels 8

Los Angeles scored two unearned runs in the ninth inning to tie Chicago, who got a three-run homer from Jason Heyward, a day after he was suffered multiple bee stings.

Mike Trout and Albert Pujols went deep in the Angels’ five-run fourth, but it wasn’t enough to extend the Cubs’ losing streak.

White Sox 11, Rockies 7

Carlos Sanchez hit two home runs and Chicago rocked Colorado starter Jordan Lyles for seven runs in 4 2/3 innings.

Sanchez belted a two-run shot in the fourth off Lyles. Matt Davidson crushed his fifth homer of the spring earlier in the inning of Lyles.

Nationals-Marlins, postponed

The game was called off before it began because of rain.

Washington’s Stephen Strasburg will start Tuesday.

Royals (SS) 11, Padres 3

Mariners 6, Royals (SS) 4

Karns, who had giving up 12 earned runs in his previous 16 innings, gave up two earned runs in six inning.

Indians 6, Athletics 4

Tyler Naquin continued his torrid spring training by hitting his fourth home run to support six strong innings from Danny Salazar.

Salazar, the Indians’ No. 3 starter, gave up just two runs and Joba Chamberlain recorded a save by pitching a hitless ninth.

Cardinals 3, Mets 1

Carlos Martinez shut down New York on three hits and one run in six innings of work and retired 13 straight between the second and sixth innings.

St. Louis outfield Matt Holliday, who missed much of the second half of last season, hit his first home run since July 21.

Blue Jays 2, Phillies 1

Marcus Stroman, making his final start of the spring, went four innings and allowed only three hits without issuing a walk.

Vince Velasquez, who was named Philadelphia’s fifth starter earlier in the day, matched Stroman and pitched six shutout innings.

Darrell Ceciliani’s two-run homer in the bottom of the eighth was the game winner.

Pirates 6, Twins 4

Tyler Duffey, competing for the final spot in Minnesota’s rotation with Ricky Nolasco, gave up four runs on four hits and three walks in four innings.

Gerrit Cole allowed two runs on eight hits and struck out four over 4 2/3 innings for Pittsburgh.
