Cleveland Indians right-hander Carlos Carrasco exited Tuesday’s contest against the Miami Marlins with left knee discomfort.

Carrasco was covering first base in the fourth inning when he was injured following an awkward dive for a low throw from Carlos Santana.

The 32-year-old Carrasco scattered two hits and struck out four over four scoreless innings before exiting the game.

Carrasco was replaced to start the fifth inning by Neil Ramirez, who saw his first-pitch fastball deposited over the wall in right field by Jorge Alfaro.

Carrasco is 2-2 this season with a 7.41 ERA in 11 appearances this season. He has 29 strikeouts in 17 innings.
