The Los Angeles Dodgers welcomed back a pair of key contributors as Chris Taylor and Enrique Hernandez were activated from the injured list Tuesday in advance of a three-game home series against the Toronto Blue Jays.

In another move, the Dodgers recalled right-handed reliever Dylan Floro from Triple-A Oklahoma City.

The 28-year-old Taylor, a utility player who was key for the Dodgers while shortstop Corey Seager was out with a hamstring injury, had been out since July 14 with a left wrist fracture after he was hit by a pitch from the Boston Red Sox’s Heath Hembree. Taylor is batting .261 this season with eight home runs and 41 RBIs.

Hernandez, 27, who opened the season as the Dodgers’ starting second baseman, has been out since July 24 with a left hand sprain that happened on a swing against the Los Angeles Angels. Hernandez has struggled offensively, batting .238 with a .309 on-base percentage, but does have 16 home runs with 52 RBIs to tie a career high.

Floro, 28, got off to a hot start before struggles mounted and he was eventually sent to Oklahoma City. He is 4-3 this season with a 4.00 ERA in 38 appearances.

To make room on the active roster, the Dodgers placed utility player Kristopher Negron on the 10-day injured list with neck stiffness and optioned outfielder Kyle Garlick and right-hander Casey Sadler to Oklahoma City.
