Miami Marlins left-hander Tanner Scott won his arbitration case Saturday in the final one of the year.

Scott was awarded $5.7 million as opposed to the $5.15 million filed by the Marlins.

Scott’s victory gave the players a 9-6 edge in the 15 cases that reached the arbitration stage.

Scott, 29, went 9-5 with a 2.31 ERA and 12 saves in 74 appearances last season. Scott struck out 104 in 78 innings as part of the best campaign of his six-plus big-league seasons.

In two seasons with the Marlins, Scott has 32 saves. He spent his first four-plus seasons with the Baltimore Orioles.

The largest award won by a player this season was by Toronto star Vladimir Guerrero Jr., who was awarded $19.9 million, a record for the highest amount in a case that went to a hearing. Toronto had offered $18.05 million.
