Phillies reach deals with Hellickson, Gomez, Galvis

The Phillies settled their three salary-arbitration cases, as Philadelphia agreed to one-year deals with right-handers Jeremy Hellickson and Jeanmar Gomez, and shortstop Freddy Galvis.

Hellickson agreed to a one-year, $7 million contract after posting a 4.62 ERA and going 9-12 in 27 starts last season for Arizona. He was traded by the Diamondbacks to the Phillies in November..

The 26-year-old Galvis received a $2 million deal after hitting .263 with seven homers and 50 RBIs last year, when he made $513,500, while Gomez agreed to a $1.4 million contract after going 2-3 with a 3.01 ERA in 65 relief appearances last season, when he made $800,000.
