Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love is expected to miss at least two weeks because of a separated shoulder.

ESPN reported that some Cavs players were told Love could miss all are part of the team’s next playoff series, presumably against the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls hold a 3-1 edge in their first-round series against the Milwaukee Bucks. The two teams play Game 5 Monday night in Milwaukee.

Love was injured in Sunday’s game against the Boston Celtics.

With 5:22 remaining in the first quarter, Love got tangled up with Boston forward Kelly Olynyk chasing a long rebound. Olynyk’s right arm locked around Love’s left arm and a foul was called on Olynyk.

Love clutched his shoulder and ran off the court and straight to the locker room at the opposite corner of the court.

“I thought it was a bush-league play,” Love said after the game. “I have no doubt in my mind that he did it on purpose.”

The accusation caught Olynyk by surprise.

“That’s ridiculous,” Olynyk told the Boston Herald Sunday night. “I would never intentionally hurt Kevin or anyone else. He locked my arm up, I locked up his as we were fighting for a loose ball. You lock up arms all the time in this league.”

Olynyk did say he tried to contact Love but was unsuccessful.
