Former Arkansas guard Michael Qualls reportedly suffered a torn ACL during a pre-draft workout and will be out at least six months.

The injury occurred during Qualls’ workout with the Phoenix Suns last Thursday, and an MRI in Denver on Sunday confirmed the tear, ESPN.com reported. DraftExpress first reported the injury.

On Sunday, Qualls tweeted, “Minor setback for craziest comeback you’ve ever seen.”

Qualls averaged 15.9 points and 5.3 rebounds as a junior and then declared for the NBA draft in April. He was expected to be a second-round pick.

The draft will take place June 25.
