The Denver Nuggets will be without rotation guard P.J. Dozier for the rest of the season due to a torn ACL in his left knee, the team announced Wednesday.

Dozier, 25, was injured in Tuesday night’s loss to the Portland Trail Blazers. Dozier landed awkwardly after a collision at the rim in the first quarter and had to be carried off by teammates.

It’s another blow to the injury-riddled Nuggets, still waiting on Jamal Murray’s return from an ACL injury and dealing with Michael Porter Jr.’s lower back issues. Reigning MVP Nikola Jokic has missed the past three games with a wrist injury.

Dozier was averaging 6.4 points and 3.5 rebounds per game in 18.9 minutes off the bench. He had played in all 18 games.

He averages 6.4 points for his career in five seasons with three teams. He’s in his third season with Denver.
