Raptors guard Kyle Lowry (foot) to miss 7-10 days

Toronto Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry will be sidelined the next 7-10 days due to a right foot infection.

The ailment forced Lowry to miss Wednesday night’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, according to Toronto head coach Nick Nurse.

Lowry, 35, scored 10 points on 3 of 8 shooting in 24 minutes during Toronto’s 118-104 road loss to the Detroit Pistons on Monday. He did not play in Toronto’s 122-117 home loss Sunday against the Portland Trail Blazers because of right foot soreness.

Lowry has averaged 17.0 points, 7.3 assists and 5.4 rebounds in 39 games this season.

A six-time All-Star, Lowry has averaged 14.8 points, 6.2 assists and 4.4 rebounds in 953 career games (717 starts) with the Memphis Grizzlies (2006-09), Houston Rockets (2009-12) and Raptors.

Lowry was selected by the Grizzlies with the 24th overall pick of the 2006 NBA Draft.
