Chandler Jones’ season could be in jeopardy after the Arizona Cardinals linebacker sustained a biceps injury during the second quarter of Sunday’s 30-10 victory over the New York Jets.

Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury told reporters that Jones’ injury is potentially season-ending. Further tests will be done to confirm that diagnosis for Jones, who registered one tackle on Sunday.

Jones has recorded double-digit sack totals in each of the previous five seasons, highlighted by his league-leading 17 as a first-team All-Pro selection in 2017.

A three-time Pro Bowler (2015, 2017, 2019) had a career-best 19 sacks as an All-Pro last year.

Jones has followed that up with 11 tackles, one fumble recovery and one sack in his first five games of 2020.

Jones, 30, has recorded 97 sacks, 432 tackles and 27 forced fumbles in 124 career games with the New England Patriots (2012-15) and Cardinals.
