Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray has a “holiday bug” and did not practice Wednesday.

Head coach Jonathan Gannon added that he was not concerned about Murray’s availability for the rest of the week.

The Cardinals (3-12) visit the Philadelphia Eagles (11-4) on Sunday afternoon.

Murray, 26, has passed for 1,305 yards with six touchdowns and four interceptions in six starts this season.

The two-time Pro Bowl selection missed the first nine games while recovering from a torn ACL.

Murray’s illness gave rookie Clayton Tune the chance to handle the first-team reps at Wednesday’s practice.

The Cardinals also designated defensive tackle Leki Fotu to return from injured reserve and promoted defensive lineman Phil Hoskins from the practice squad to the 53-man roster on Wednesday.

Fotu, 25, has missed the last four games with a hand injury. He has 25 tackles and a career-high 2.5 sacks in 10 games (nine starts) in his fourth season with Arizona.

Hoskins, 26, has recorded four tackles in three games this season. He spent the previous two seasons with the Carolina Panthers, who drafted him in the seventh round in 2021.
