Tennessee Titans wideout A.J. Brown and left tackle Taylor Lewan are expected to return Tuesday night against the Buffalo Bills, according to reports.

Brown hasn’t played since Week 1 when he suffered a bone bruise on his knee. Lewan left the Titans’ Week 3 game against the Minnesota Vikings with a shoulder injury. The coronavirus outbreak on the team gave Lewan an extra week to recover in Week 4. The Sept. 27 contest vs. the Vikings was the last time the Titans played.

The starting offensive line is intact for Tennessee.

Brown’s return is fortuitous for the Titans, with Corey Davis and Adam Humphries still on the reserve/COVID-19 list. However, with limited practices due to the outbreak, it’s unclear how impactful Brown will be.

The Titans returned six players from the list on Tuesday: cornerback Kristian Fulton, outside linebacker Kamalei Correa, starting nose tackle DaQuan Jones, long snapper Beau Brinkley, backup right tackle Isaiah Wilson and practice squad cornerback Greg Mabin.

However, defensive end Jeffery Simmons, fullback Khari Blasingame, tight end MyCole Pruitt and three practice squad players join Davis and Humphries as still on the list.

Fulton and Correa were declared inactive for Tuesday night.

Also Tuesday, the Titans elevated four players from the practice squad: linebacker Daren Bates, cornerback Kareem Orr, offensive lineman David Quessenberry and wide receiver Cody Hollister. All four are eligible to play on Tuesday night but will be returned to the practice squad on Wednesday under the NFL’s COVID-19 rules.

Brown had a tremendous rookie season in 2019, catching 52 passes for 1,051 yards and eight touchdowns. Brown reeled in five catches for 39 yards in the season opener. Kalif Raymond, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine and Hollister are expected to be the other active WRs with Brown.
