The Atlanta Falcons activated punter Matt Bosher from injured reserve and designated rookie guard Chris Lindstrom to return from IR on Monday.

Bosher, 32, landed on injured reserve with a groin injury prior to Week 5. The 2011 sixth-round pick has averaged 45.7 yards per punt in nine seasons with the Falcons, including 41.9 in three games in 2019.

Ryan Allen, Kasey Redfern and Matt Wile have all punted in Bosher’s absence.

Lindstrom, 22, was the 14th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft out of Boston College. He suffered a foot injury in the season opener against Minnesota.

Lindstrom returned to practice Monday, opening the Falcons’ 21-day window to activate him and place on the 53-man roster. If he is not activated during that time, he will be ineligible to return this season.

Atlanta also signed tackle John Wetzel. The 28-year-old played in 40 games (24 starts) with the Arizona Cardinals from 2016-18.
