Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Calvin Ridley missed practice Saturday, and the team will be cautious with what coach Dan Quinn called a “tight hamstring.”

“He’s got a sore hamstring, and we’re going to make sure he’s full speed to go,” Quinn told reporters, per the team’s official website.

“At his position, the corners, the wide receivers, those guys have got to be able to explode. … It’s day-to-day, but I’d say it’s not a long-term thing. If it has to be three or four or five days, it will.”

Ridley suffered the injury in Thursday’s practice at the team’s training camp in Flowery Branch, Ga.

He caught 64 passes for 821 yards and 10 touchdowns last season after the Falcons selected him with the 26th pick in the 2018 first round. Ridley led all rookies in receiving yards and receiving touchdowns.

Two other players missed practice Saturday — defensive end Takk McKinley (personal) and linebacker Duke Riley (groin/hip flexor). Quinn said Riley is “probably in the same space” as Ridley, meaning he could be out multiple days.
