Former New York Giants guard Kevin Zeitler signed a three-year, $22 million deal with the Baltimore Ravens, ESPN reported Monday.

The Giants released the 31-year-old veteran last Wednesday as part of a youth movement.

Per the report, the contract with the Ravens was signed hours before Monday’s noon ET start of the NFL’s legal tampering period for free agents because Zeitler was cut last week.

The deal includes $16 million in guarantees, per the report.

Zeitler started 31 games in his two seasons with the Giants, all at right guard. He started 16 games in 2020. An ankle injury in 2019 ended a streak of 85 consecutive games started.

The Giants acquired Zeitler from the Cleveland Browns in the trade that sent Olivier Vernon out of New York. Zeitler played two years for the Browns and five seasons for the Cincinnati Bengals.
