Cleveland Browns receiver Odell Beckham Jr. will rejoin the team on Saturday after testing negative for COVID-19 a second time, according to ESPN.

The team sent Beckham home from practice Thursday with an illness. NFL guidelines require anyone experiencing flu-like symptoms — cough, sore throat, nasal congestion — to remain at home regardless of test results.

Cleveland coach Kevin Stefanski said Friday that Beckham had been taking meetings with the team remotely and was feeling better. He remains listed as questionable on the injury report, though the Browns are moving forward as if he’ll play in Sunday’s road game against the Pittsburgh Steelers (4-0).

“He was out here Wednesday and got some good work in Wednesday,” Stefanski told cleveland.com. “He’s been in meetings virtually. Coach (Chad) O’Shea is going to spend extra time with him in those meetings. If all goes according to plan for (Saturday), you spend even more time and you spend even more walkthrough time. I think there’s enough time to catch him up, barring his health.”

There were no positive results from Thursday’s testing of the Browns’ players and staff members, per the report. Team facilities were open for business on Friday.

Beckham has 21 catches for a team-high 294 receiving yards with four touchdowns, including one rushing score, on the season.

The Browns (4-1) have won four in a row.
