Cleveland Browns receiver Odell Beckham Jr. tested negative but will remain at home Friday under the COVID-19 protocol, Cleveland.com reported.

The team sent Beckham home from practice Thursday with an illness. NFL guidelines require anyone experiencing flu-like symptoms — cough, sore throat, nasal congestion — to remain at home regardless of test results.

There were no positive results from Thursday’s testing of the Browns’ players and staff members, per the report. Team facilities were open for business on Friday.

Beckham has 21 catches for a team-high 294 receiving yards with four touchdowns, including one rushing score, on the season.

The Browns (4-1) have won four in a row and are scheduled to play the Steelers (4-0) in Pittsburgh on Sunday.
