EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Eli Manning threw four touchdowns to lead the New York Giants to a 28-23 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

The Giants cashed in on two early turnovers by Eagles rookie quarterback Carson Wentz, converting both of those into a 14-0 lead. New York also managed to extend its streak of five defensive series with an interception, a streak dating back to their Week 7 win over the Los Angeles Rams in London.

This week, the first of their two consecutive interceptions came on Wentz’s pass intended for receiver Nelson Agholor, which was picked off by safety Landon Collins. Following that turnover, the Giants (5-3) needed just two plays to get on the board when Manning connected on a 26-yard pass to Odell Beckham Jr. for the first of the receiver’s two touchdown catches.

The second interception by Wentz came on a third-and-5 when he tried to connect with receiver Dorial Green-Beckham. This time, it was safety Andre Adams coming up with the pick, setting up a 30-yard Manning touchdown pass to receiver Roger Lewis Jr. to give the Giants a commanding 14-0 first-quarter lead.

The Eagles (4-4) have dropped four of their last five games.

Cowboys 35, Browns 10

CLEVELAND — Dallas’ potent offense put three touchdowns on the board in the first half and rolled over winless Cleveland.

Rookie quarterback Dak Prescott threw a 26-yard touchdown pass to tight end Jason Witten on the Cowboys’ first possession after Cody Parkey kicked a 31-yard field goal for the Browns on the opening drive of the game. The Cowboys (7-1) never trailed again as they won their seventh straight game.

The Browns are 0-9 — their worst start since they were 0-9 in 1975.

Once again, the Cowboys’ offensive line provided excellent protection for Prescott and opened freeway-sized running lanes for rookie running back Ezekiel Elliott. who entered the game as the NFL’s leading rusher with 799 yards. He finished the game with 92 yards rushing on 18 carries.

Lions 22, Vikings 16 (OT)

MINNEAPOLIS — Golden Tate’s tackle-breaking, leaping touchdown in overtime gave Detroit a 22-16 victory over Minnesota.

On third-and-8, Tate caught a pass from Matthew Stafford and spun away from Vikings cornerback Xavier Rhodes, who dived at Tate and missed. Tate pulled away from a tackle attempt from safety Harrison Smith along the sideline and then leaped into the end zone for a 28-yard touchdown with 8:34 left in OT as he was hit by safety Andrew Sendejo.

Detroit’s offense came alive when needed in a sluggish affair as the Lions (5-4) won for the third time in four games. Matt Prater sent the game to overtime with a 58-yard field goal with two seconds left in regulation.

The Lions’ defense stifled the Vikings under new offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur. Minnesota (5-3) lost its third straight game after it was the NFL’s last unbeaten team with a 5-0 start.

Ravens 21 Steelers 14

BALTIMORE — Mike Wallace had a 95-yard touchdown reception that was the longest pass play in franchise history and Baltimore took over first place in the AFC North with a victory over Pittsburgh.

The Ravens (4-4) won their fourth consecutive game against the Steelers and also snapped a four-game losing streak in the process.

Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger returned to the lineup for the Steelers (4-4) after undergoing surgery to repair a torn left meniscus on Oct. 17. He was out of sync for most of the game before leading a pair scoring drives in the final quarter.

Chiefs 19, Jaguars 14

KANSAS CITY, Mo — Kansas City Chiefs found a way to hold on beat Jacksonville for its fourth consecutive victory.

The Chiefs’ offense was without three key playmakers and it showed. Quarterback Alex Smith was out because of head trauma and running back Spencer Ware did not play due to a concussion. Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin left the game early in the first quarter because of a groin injury.

The Chiefs (6-2) totaled 231 offensive yards and scored just one touchdown. Matters got worse in the fourth quarter, when talented tight end Travis Kelce was ejected after picking up a pair of unsportsmanlike penalties after a non-call by the officials in the end zone.

The Jaguars are 2-6 and have lost three consecutive games.

Dolphins 27, Jets 23

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — Rookie Kenyan Drake scored the go-ahead touchdown on a 96-yard kickoff return to lead Miami Dolphins over New York.

Drake’s return came with 5:15 left in the fourth quarter. On the previous play, Miami’s Jakeem Grant was tackled on his own 20 on a kickoff return. But due to an offsides penalty on the Jets, New York was forced to kick off again.

Ironically, Grant had returned a punt for a touchdown in the first half, but that play was negated by a block-in-the-back penalty on Drake.

The Dolphins (4-4) won their third game in a row. The Jets are 3-6.
