The Baltimore Ravens will face the Chicago Bears in the Hall of Fame Game, the NFL announced on Tuesday.

The game will be played on Aug. 2 in the Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio. It will kick off a weekend of events that includes the formal enshrinement ceremony of the Class of 2018 on Aug. 4.

The Hall of Fame Game appearance will be the first for the Ravens and fifth for the Bears, with Chicago winning each of its previous four — including a 27-24 victory over the Miami Dolphins in 2005.

Star linebackers from both clubs — Ray Lewis (Ravens) and Brian Urlacher (Bears) — were elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in their first year of eligibility last Saturday.

Lewis was a two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year, helped the Ravens win two Super Bowl titles and was the MVP in Super Bowl XXXV. He was named All-Pro eight times, voted to 12 Pro Bowls and selected to the NFL All-Decade Team of the 2000s.

Urlacher earned NFL Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2005 and fueled the Bears to a Super Bowl appearance the following season. He was selected All-Pro five times, voted to eight Pro Bowls and named to the NFL All-Decade Team of the 2000s.

The other members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2018 include Bobby Beathard, Robert Brazile, Brian Dawkins, Jerry Kramer, Randy Moss and Terrell Owens.
