The Green Bay Packers placed linebacker Christian Kirksey and wide receiver Allen Lazard on injured reserve, the team announced Saturday.

Kirksey originally was reported to have a shoulder injury, however the practice report this week listed it as a pectoral ailment.

The 28-year-old recorded 27 tackles in three games this season. He has collected 511 tackles, 11.5 sacks, four forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries in 76 career games (57 starts) with the Cleveland Browns (2014-19) and Packers.

Lazard’s placement on injured reserve was expected. He underwent surgery to repair a core muscle injury this week.

Lazard, 24, had six catches for 146 yards, both career bests, and a touchdown in Green Bay’s 37-30 victory at New Orleans on Sunday night. His big game occurred in the absence of Packers star Davante Adams, who was out due to a hamstring injury. With Adams still not at full speed, the Packers are left with significant concerns at wide receiver heading into Monday night’s game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Lazard, who has 13 receptions this year, leads the Packers in receiving yards (254) while his two touchdown catches are tied with Adams and tight end Robert Tonyan for tops on the club. Lazard has 49 receptions for 738 yards and five touchdowns in 20 career games (six starts) with the Packers.
