Aaron Jones and the Green Bay Packers reached agreement on a four-year, $48 million contract, according to multiple reports Sunday.

Jones’ agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told NFL Network and ESPN the deal includes a $13 million signing bonus.

Jones was clearly pleased to be coming back, tweeting “Let’s run it back” on Sunday with a cheese emoji and “#GoPackGo.”

Rather than franchise-tag the star running back, the Packers opted to pursue discussions on a long-term solution.

Jones, 26, averaged 5.5 yards per carry in 2020, rolling up 1,104 yards and nine touchdowns.

Rosenhaus said his client “anticipated bigger offers in free agency but Aaron wanted to stay with the Packers,” NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reported.

Over his four-year career, Jones has 651 carries for 3,364 yards — a 5.2 per-carry average — and 37 touchdowns in 54 games.

Jones was a fifth-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft out of the University of Texas-El Paso.
