The Houston Texans are re-signing offensive tackle Roderick Johnson to a one-year deal, per multiple reports on Saturday.

The three-year veteran started three games last season for Houston and played 25 percent of the team’s offensive snaps.

Johnson, 25, was the team’s backup tackle on both sides of the offensive line and filled in for starters Laremy Tunsil and Tytus Howard.

Johnson was drafted by the Cleveland in the fifth round of the 2017 draft, though he never appeared in a game for the Browns after suffering a season-ending injury his rookie year. The Texans claimed him in 2018 and he appeared in just one game that season. However, Johnson saw action in all 16 games in 2019 and has played 29 games overall for Houston with six career starts.
