The Indianapolis Colts placed standout defensive lineman Denico Autry on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Friday.

The move comes one day after Autry missed practice with what the Colts termed an illness. He will miss Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers.

Autry, 30, leads the Colts with six sacks. He has 29 during a seven-year career that includes 56 games for the then-Oakland Raiders and 35 for Indianapolis.

Special teams coordinator Bubba Ventrone will also miss Sunday’s contest due to coronavirus-related issues. Colts coach Frank Reich said special team assistant Frank Ross will oversee the unit against the Packers.

Three defensive linemen who were held out of practice Thursday — Grover Stewart, Tyquan Lewis and Al-Quadin Muhammad — were back at practice on Friday. The trio returned after it was determined they weren’t high-risk close contacts of Autry.

Five Colts are listed as questionable due to injuries, including tight end Jack Doyle (concussion). The others are cornerback Isaiah Rodgers (knee), tackle Braden Smith (thumb), tight end Noah Togiai (knee) and defensive end Kemoko Turay (ankle).
