Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill is out of a sling this week, sparking speculation that he could be ready to return from a right clavicle injury before the original 6-8 week estimate.

Hill came away with a clavicle injury in a Week 1 victory at Jacksonville, keeping him out of Sunday’s victory over the Oakland Raiders. He will not play in this weekend’s home game against the Baltimore Ravens.

It is unknown if Hill can return for a Week 4 game at Detroit, but the sight of him dribbling a basketball with both hands at the Chiefs’ facility this week, reported by ESPN, has raised the question of an early return.

Hill, 25, had just two catches for 16 yards in the opening week against the Jaguars. He was a key contributor to the Chiefs’ offense last season, catching 87 passes for 1,479 yards and 12 touchdowns, while also running for another score.
