The Kansas City Chiefs and defensive end Taco Charlton have agreed to a one-year deal, according to a report from Yahoo Sports.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

This will be the third team for the 25-year-old Charlton, who was the No. 28 overall draft pick by Dallas in 2017. The Cowboys released Charlton after two seasons, and the Miami Dolphins claimed him off of waivers.

The Dolphins placed the 6-foot-6 Michigan product on waivers on Thursday.

In 37 career games (12 starts) over three seasons, Charlton has 67 tackles, three forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and nine sacks. Five of those sacks came with the Dolphins in 2019.
