–Dolphins center Travis Swanson has been an important mid-season pickup for Miami’s injury-plagued offensive line. Swanson, who played his college ball at Arkansas, was a third-round pick of the Detroit Lions in 2014. He started 42 games for the Lions before signing this year with the Jets. Cut by the Jets, he signed with Miami, where he has started seven games. The Dolphins needed him after losing their original center for the season, Daniel Kilgore. However, Swanson now has an ankle injury and is questionable to play on Sunday.

–Dolphins running back Kenyan Drake on his two touchdowns last Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts: “I didn’t get touched, really, on either one, and that’s a testament to the linemen, the receivers and everyone being in the position they need to be and then me making a play with the ball in my hands.”

–Dolphins running back Frank Gore on losing the lead and the game to the Colts: “It was very frustrating because we were dominating the game all the way through until there were seven or eight minutes left, and we let it go.”

BY THE NUMBERS: 6 — The Dolphins are tied for seventh in the NFL so far this season with a plus-six turnover differential. The Chicago Bears and Cleveland Browns are tied for first at plus-14.
