The New Orleans Saints signed veteran offensive lineman James Hurst to a one-year deal.

His agent, Jack Bechta, reported the news Wednesday on Twitter.

Hurst, 28, was an undrafted free agent from North Carolina and spent six seasons with the Ravens. Baltimore released him in March for salary cap purposes.

He played 90 games with the Ravens — he appeared in 16 games all but one season — but he will miss the first four games of the 2020 season to serve a suspension for violating the league’s rules on performance-enhancing substances.

Hurst started 44 games for the Ravens, playing guard and tackle.
