The New Orleans Saints are planning a switch to Taysom Hill at starting quarterback this week, NFL Network reported Monday.

Hill is taking first-team reps in practice and is likely to start Thursday night’s game against the Dallas Cowboys, per the report. Trevor Siemian, who has started the past four games, is taking No. 2 reps.

Hill continues to work through a foot injury and need to be healthy enough to play, per the report.

The move comes amid a four-game losing streak for the Saints, all with Siemian as the starter. Siemian replaced Jameis Winston when he went down with a knee injury in the team’s Week 8 game against Tampa Bay. Siemian led the Saints to the win over the Buccaneers but is winless since.

Siemian has completed just 57.2 percent of his passes for 1,083 yards, nine touchdowns and three interceptions on the season. All three INTs have come in the past two games.

The Saints are now 5-6 and have fallen out of the playoff race, for the moment.

Hill has played in just seven games, rushing for 104 yards while passing for 56 yards with an interception. He’s also caught four passes for 52 yards in his Swiss Army knife role.

The Cowboys (7-4) lead the NFC East.
