The Philadelphia Eagles put starting linebacker Davion Taylor on injured reserve Wednesday with a knee injury.

Taylor, 23, was hurt in last Sunday’s win over the New Orleans Saints. The expectation is that Taylor will be able to return later this season, but he’ll have to miss at least three games.

Taylor has played in nine games, starting the last six next to T.J. Edwards. Taylor has 24 tackles and two forced fumbles on the season. He has played in 21 games (seven starts) since being drafted in the third round in 2020.

The Eagles also re-signed LB Christian Elliss to the practice squad.
