The Philadelphia Eagles are meeting Tuesday with Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator Nick Sirianni and Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator Kellen Moore about their head coaching vacancy.

According to multiple reports, the Eagles added several to their list of coaching candidates to include New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator Dennis Allen.

Dallas Cowboys special teams coordinator John Fassel is also on the Eagles’ growing list of candidates, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Sirianni, 39, has held that position for the last three seasons with the Colts following five seasons as an assistant with the San Diego/Los Angeles Chargers (2013-17) and four with the Kansas City Chiefs (2009-12).

Indianapolis went 11-5 during the 2020 regular season and lost 27-24 to the Buffalo Bills in the wild-card round. Sirianni’s offense ranked ninth in the NFL in scoring and 10th in total offense (11th in passing, 11th in rushing).

Moore turned down an interview for the head coaching job at Boise State, where he played quarterback, and received a raise from the Cowboys earlier this month.

Allen is due in town Wednesday. The Saints were No. 4 in total defense in 2020 and entered the playoffs as the No. 2 seed in the NFC.

Allen would be a retread, having gone 8-28 in 36 games as head coach of the Oakland Raiders.

The Eagles fired head coach Doug Pederson earlier this month after a five-year run that included a 42-37-1 record and Philadelphia’s first Super Bowl championship.

The Eagles are looking for a coach who can help veteran quarterback Carson Wentz bounce back from a dreadful season.

Sirianni was the Chargers’ quarterbacks coach from 2014-15 and the Chiefs’ assistant QBs coach in 2010.

Moore has been credited with the development of Dak Prescott, coaching the quarterback position under Jason Garrett in Dallas and sticking with the team when Mike McCarthy was hired prior to the 2020 season.

Fassel, 47, joined the Cowboys in 2020 after coaching special teams with the Rams for eight seasons (2012-19) and the Raiders for four seasons (2008-11). He went 0-3 as the Rams’ interim head coach in 2016 after the team fired Jeff Fisher.

Other candidates linked to the Philadelphia vacancy include Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive coordinator Todd Bowles, Carolina Panthers offensive coordinator Joe Brady and New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels.
