The Philadelphia Eagles are releasing veteran cornerback Orlando Scandrick, NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero reported Monday.

Scandrick, 32, played 36 snaps and contributed three tackles in Sunday night’s 37-10 loss to his former team, the Dallas Cowboys.

He played in only three games for the Eagles this season, including a 31-6 win against the New York Jets in Week 5 in which he posted two sacks and returned a fumble 44 yards for a touchdown.

A fifth-round pick in 2008 by Dallas, Scandrick played nine seasons there before playing 15 games with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2018.

In 143 career games (77 starts), he has 450 tackles, 13.5 sacks, 10 forced fumbles, nine interceptions and two defensive touchdowns.
