The San Francisco 49ers will sign veteran tight end MyCole Pruitt, according to the player’s agent.
The 29-year-old Pruitt spent the past three seasons with the Tennessee Titans. He appeared in 11 games with four starts in 2020, when he caught five passes for 49 yards and two touchdowns.
In 63 career games (18 starts), Pruitt has 32 receptions for 343 yards and four touchdowns. He has played for the Minnesota Vikings (2015-16), Chicago Bears (2016) and Houston Texans (2017) in addition to spending the past three years in Tennessee.
Pruitt played collegiately at Southern Illinois and was the Vikings’ fifth-round draft pick (No. 143 overall) in 2015.
