For the first time, the top reception of the week in college football comes from the Ivy League.

Dartmouth, going for its 19th Ivy League football title, the most of any Ivy League school, was on the ropes in Boston, Mass., on Saturday. Harvard (4-3), already with two conference losses, led the Big Green, 6-3, late in the fourth quarter.

The Crimson, which had won five consecutive games at their home stadium, had held Dartmouth to a single field goal and only 52 yards rushing, and there was just time for one more play in the game.

As time expired, Dartmouth quarterback Derek Kyler uncorked a Hail Mary to the end zone, which was tipped into the hands of junior wide receiver Masaki Aerts to give the Big Green the 9-6 victory.

This sets up the Ivy League showdown on Saturday at Yankee Stadium between the two undefeated conference leaders, Princeton and Dartmouth.

For the game, Kyler completed 11 of 18 passes for 133 yards, while for Aerts, it was his first touchdown of the season and his only reception of the game.

Aerts’ miraculous 43-yard scoring reception on the game’s final play, is this week’s U.S. Farm Raised Catfish “Catch of the Week.”

Remember … for the tailgate tent or the pre-game party, U. S. Farm-Raised Catfish is always “the winning catch.”
