Playing in Tempe, Ariz., Arizona State had controlled the tempo against No. 6 Oregon for most of the game, but the favored Ducks, also a favorite for the College Football Playoff Final Four, were making a fourth quarter comeback.

Oregon had pulled to within three points with just over five minutes remaining in the game and had captured the momentum. The Sun Devils needed another big play from its offense and Brandon Aiyuk provided just what was needed.

With the ball at the Aztecs’ 19-yard line, the senior wide receiver caught a throw from true freshman quarterback Jayden Daniels and took it 81 yards for a score, increasing the margin to 10 points and regaining the momentum in the upset win.

Aiyuk’s long scoring reception is this week’s U.S. Farm Raised Catfish “Catch of the Week.”

For the game, he caught seven passes for 161 yards, including the 81-yard score.

Daniels, displaying excellent touch on deep passes and operating with poise against the Oregon pass rush, complete his first 12 pass attempts and threw for 408 yards and three touchdowns. The win also made the Sun Devils eligible for a postseason bowl.

Remember … for the tailgate tent or the pre-game party, U. S. Farm-Raised Catfish is always “the winning catch.”
