Colorado was ahead of USC most of the game and by early in the fourth quarter, the lead had grown to 31-21. With just over two minutes remaining, the Trojans still trailed, 31-28, and their chances to remain tied with Utah atop the Pac-12 South were hanging by a thread.

Senior wide receiver Michael Pittman had already hauled in one touchdown pass from freshman quarterback Kedon Slovis early in the fourth quarter to narrow the margin. Now, it was time for them to do it again.

Slovis hit Pittman on a slant and the Trojan speedster outran Buffalo defenders to the end zone on the 37-yard scoring pass. For the day, he had seven receptions for 156 yards, including the two touchdowns. Slovis completed 30 of 44 passes for 406 yards and four scores.

Pittman’s scoring reception and run, with little time remaining and the game on the line, is this week’s U.S. Farm Raised Catfish “Catch of the Week.”

Remember … for the tailgate tent or the pre-game party, U. S. Farm-Raised Catfish is always “the winning catch.”
