For the Virginia Cavaliers, Saturday’s game against in-state rival James Madison was especially significant. It was the first game at Scott Stadium in Charlottesville since three team members were fatally shot last November.

Virginia players and fans dedicated this season to the memory of that trio.

Despite having played in inclement weather, experiencing a lengthy lightning delay and trailing by 10 points in the first quarter, the Cavaliers led 35-24 after three stanzas. The home team was less than a minute away from celebrating the victory.

But, the Dukes had other plans.

With just 55 seconds remaining, quarterback Jordan McCloud hit running back Kaelon Black with a 10-yard touchdown pass, giving the visitors a 36-35 come-from-behind win.

That touchdown catch has been chosen as the U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish “Catch of the Week.”

For the game, Black ran for 25 yards and caught three passes, including the game-winning reception. McCloud completed 21 of 30 passes for 224 yards and no interceptions, and ran for another 32 yards.

Remember … for the tailgate tent or the pre-game party, U. S. Farm-Raised Catfish is always “the winning catch.”

The Catfish Institute, or TCI, was formed in 1986 by catfish farmers and feed manufacturers to raise consumer awareness of the positive qualities of U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish. Since its formation, U.S. per capita consumption has more than doubled.

U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish is a sustainable and environmentally friendly seafood product. The National Audubon Society, Monterey Bay Aquarium, and Environmental Defense all recommend U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish as a safe environmental choice. To find out more, visit www.uscatfish.com.
