In the first ever virtual draft due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Cincinnati Bengals selected former LSU quarterback Joe Burrow with the top overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Burrow, the 2019 Heisman Trophy winner, was the top-rated quarterback in the draft according to Lindy’s.

Last year, he passed for 5,671 yards and a single-season FBS record 60 touchdowns and led the Tigers to the College Football Playoff championship. He completed 76.3 percent of his passes and established a new FBS record for passing efficiency with a 202.0 rating.

Burrow has good size (6-3, 216), a strong, accurate arm and has a knack for escaping pressure and getting the ball downfield. His leadership skills are off the charts and his experience in a pro-style system last season at LSU should only benefit him as a rookie.
